The lighthouse site is owned by the Ville de Métis-sur-Mer and leased and operated by the Association des résidents de la pointe du phare (ARPP). The organization works with Heritage Lower St. Lawrence (HLSL) to preserve this community icon and natural space. However, after over 25 years of deferred maintenance, major renovations are required. Rental fees and grants are helping in these efforts, but private contributions are essential, especially as matching funds for government grants. Here are ways that you can support our efforts.
Cash gifts of any amount are welcome and those over $20 will automatically receive a receipt for tax purposes. Gifts of goods such as art or furniture are also possible.
Periodically we need help with maintenance, repairs or site supervision, and volunteers from the community are welcome.
Various souvenirs are available for purchase, and proceeds go towards our preservation efforts. Even more, they show your support for our efforts.
